In the Aliceville Elementary School Media Center, children engage in lessons that build their library skills, enhance their knowledge through research, and develop Digital Citizenship. Students are celebrated through Accelerated Reader Celebrations when they accomplish their goals each Nine Weeks.

Meet the Library Media Specialist
My name is Mrs. Howard. I am the new librarian at AES. I am looking forward to equipping the students with learning opportunities and giving them information that will foster a love for reading throughout their lives.
Circulation Policy
- Kindergarten students check out one book at a time and must keep books at school in their classroom.
- First-third grade students check out one book at a time and can take the book home at the teacher's discretion.
- Fourth-sixth grade students check out two books at a time and can take the book home.
- Books are checked out for one week at a time.
- No late fees are assessed. However, students must return books to get new books.
- Replacement and damage charges are enforced when necessary.
- All items should be returned to the circulation desk.
